Glossary

Sandbox demo.

A sandbox demo is a working, isolated copy of a software product, loaded with demo data, that a prospect can use freely without affecting real accounts.

Also: demo sandbox · clickable environment

Unlike a captured interactive demo, a sandbox runs the actual product: the buyer can type into fields, change settings, and see real behaviour. That makes it the most convincing format for technical buyers and the most expensive to build and maintain — it needs an environment, data that resets, and someone to keep it in step with releases.

Sandboxes appear in enterprise demo platforms (Demostack, Reprise, Navattic's and Storylane's upper tiers) and in engineering-built 'try it' environments. They suit proof-of-concept stages, not a pricing page where nobody wants to type.

In Tellane: Tellane does not make sandboxes. It captures screens for guided demos; when a buyer needs to type real data, that is a different tool. See how →
