About
Buyers would rather drive.
Tellane is an interactive product-demo platform. Capture your product’s screens, mark the stops worth seeing, and hand buyers the keys — on your site, in an email, or on a link made just for them.
Most software is sold through a bottleneck: a form, a calendar, a thirty-minute call where a stranger screen-shares the thing you wanted to click on yourself. Everyone involved would rather skip it. The buyer wants to see if the product fits before they spend an hour on it. The seller wants to talk to people who already know it does.
Tellane exists to take the call out of the middle. A lane is your product, captured screen by screen, with a hotspot and one sentence at each stop. A buyer drives it in two minutes, branches to the part of the product that matches their job, and — if they want — leaves their email for the follow-up. You see every drive: who came, what they clicked, where they parked, and which accounts went all the way to the end.
- Lane
- An interactive demo: real screens of your product, in the order you want them seen.
- Stop
- One screen in a lane, with the hotspot and the one sentence that matters there.
- Drive
- What a buyer does with a lane. Nobody “watches” a lane.
- Park
- Where a drive ends early. The stop where people park is the one to fix.
What we hold to.
01
Show, don’t schedule
Every “book a demo” button is a toll booth between a curious person and your product. A lane removes it: they click, they drive, they decide — on their own time, on any device.
02
Viewers are never the product
Buyers don’t need accounts and you never pay for them. We don’t sell or advertise against what they do in a lane; their drive belongs to the team that published it.
03
Real screens, not a video
A video is watched once at the speed you recorded it. A lane is driven at the speed of curiosity, branches by role, and tells you exactly where interest ran out.
04
Every control does something
No “coming soon” switches, no placeholder states. If a button is in the product, it works; if a feature is on the pricing page, it ships.
05
No surprise bills
Builders pay a flat seat price. Viewers are free, a demo that goes viral costs you nothing extra, and there is never a usage invoice waiting at the end of a good month.
06
Small on purpose
We’d rather do a handful of things completely — capture, edit, share, measure — than a long list of things halfway. Ask us for something and you’ll get a straight answer about whether it fits.
Who it's for
Product-led teams who want a demo on the pricing page instead of a form. Sales teams who send one personalized link instead of three emails to schedule a call. Customer-success teams onboarding a new account to a feature. Founders who'd rather show the product than describe it. If your product has screens worth seeing, it has a lane in it.
Where to start
The live demo on the homepage is a lane — drive it. The docs take you from first capture to first lead. Pricing is one flat per-seat fare with unlimited viewers on every plan. And the contact page reaches a person, not a queue.
Last stop
Put buyers in the driver's seat.
Your product already knows how to sell itself. Give it a lane.
