Click through. That's the capture.
Tellane Capture turns a walk through your product into a lane: pick the lane, press Start, and every click screenshots the tab and sends it straight to your workspace.
Install in a minute.
- Download and unzipThe button above gives you
tellane-extension.zip. Unzip it somewhere it can stay — Chrome loads the extension from that folder. - Open the extensions pageGo to
chrome://extensionsand turn on Developer mode (top right). - Load unpackedPress Load unpacked and pick the unzipped folder. Pin Tellane Capture to the toolbar so it's a click away.
- Sign inThe extension uses your Tellane session from the same browser profile — sign in to the dashboard once and it's connected.
- CaptureIn your product, open the popup, pick a lane, press Start. Click through as a buyer would; press
Alt+Shift+Sto grab a screen without clicking. Press Stop when you're done.
What it captures, and what it doesn't
Only the visible tab, only while a capture is running, and only to the lane you picked. It never records keystrokes, form values, or other tabs, and it can't capture browser-internal pages or the Tellane app itself. Every screen shows up on the capture page in Tellane as it lands, where you can relabel or delete it.
Permissions it asks for
- Read the active tab — to take the screenshot.
- Run on all sites — so it can notice your clicks in whatever product you're capturing. It does nothing until you press Start.
- Storage — to remember which lane is selected and whether a capture is running.
Updating
Download the zip again, replace the folder's contents, and press the reload icon on chrome://extensions.
