Integration · HubSpot
HubSpot and Tellane.
Every lead captured in a lane becomes (or updates) a HubSpot contact, with the drive written to contact properties you can segment, score, and trigger workflows on.
Plan: Growth. The token is encrypted at rest.
Exactly what moves
What the integration does
- On connect, Tellane creates seven contact properties in your portal: tellane_score (number), tellane_intent (text), tellane_lane (text), tellane_completion (number, %), tellane_cta_clicked (text), tellane_last_drive (text), tellane_lead_url (text).
- When a lead is captured, the contact is upserted by email — created if new, updated if it exists — and the seven properties are written from the lead's drive.
- The sync is inline with lead capture and never blocks the viewer's form; a HubSpot failure is recorded on the integration card, not shown to the viewer.
- If HubSpot revokes the token, the card shows the error and syncing stops until you reconnect.
Setup
Connect it
- In HubSpot, create a private app with the crm.objects.contacts read and write scopes and copy its access token.
- In Tellane, Settings → Integrations → HubSpot: paste the token and connect. Tellane verifies it against HubSpot and creates the properties.
- Press Test to upsert a sample contact and confirm the properties appear.
- Build the workflow in HubSpot: for example, enrol contacts where tellane_intent is high and tellane_cta_clicked is true into a sales sequence.
FAQ
Questions
Does it sync demo views that did not submit a form?
No — contacts are created from leads (a submitted lead form). Anonymous drives stay in Tellane's analytics.
Can I map to custom properties?
The integration writes its own tellane_* properties; map them to yours with a HubSpot workflow.
Which HubSpot plan is needed?
Private apps and custom contact properties are available on HubSpot's free CRM.
