Screenshot capture.
Screenshot capture builds an interactive demo from images of each screen — taken by a browser extension on every click, uploaded, or sliced from a recording — with hotspots and tooltips layered on top.
Also: image-based demo · screenshot demo
It is the fastest way to make a demo and the format every tool in the category supports on its free plan. A screenshot can be taken of anything on screen — a web app, a desktop app, a mobile emulator, a Figma prototype — which HTML capture cannot.
The limits: text in a screenshot cannot be edited after the fact (re-capture the screen instead), and the buyer cannot type into fields. The common objection, 'screenshots go stale', is real for products that change weekly and minor for the six screens on a pricing page.
In Tellane: Tellane's Chrome extension screenshots every click; the capture page also takes uploads and recordings. See how →
