Glossary
Micro-demo.
A micro-demo is a very short interactive demo — three to six screens — that shows one feature or one outcome, used in feature announcements, docs, emails, and social posts.
Also: mini demo · feature demo
Micro-demos convert where long demos cannot be placed: a changelog entry, a help article, a LinkedIn post, a customer email. They are also the easiest demos to keep current, because re-capturing four screens takes minutes.
A product launch is typically one micro-demo per headline feature, linked from the announcement, rather than one long tour.
In Tellane: A four-stop lane is a micro-demo; embed it in the announcement and the docs page. See how →
