Glossary
Drop-off (where people park).
Drop-off is the point in an interactive demo where a viewer stops driving; the step with the largest drop between it and the next is where the demo is losing people.
Also: demo drop-off · abandonment point
Drop-off is read from the per-step funnel: if 100 drives reach step three and 51 reach step four, step three is the problem. The usual causes, in order: a hotspot that is hard to find, a lead form placed too early, a screen that answers the buyer's question so they leave satisfied, or a demo that is simply too long.
Fixing the one step with the biggest drop is worth more than any other change to a demo. Change one thing, wait a week, compare.
In Tellane: Tellane calls it parking: the analytics page names the stop where each drive parked, and the leads drawer shows it per lead. See how →
