Glossary

Branching demo.

A branching demo lets the viewer choose a route partway through — by role, use case, or interest — and shows only the screens relevant to that choice.

Also: choose-your-own-path demo · multi-flow demo

A single linear demo has to serve the ops lead and the finance lead with the same screens; a branching demo asks which they are at stop two and sends each to the right path. Branches can rejoin later, so the closing screens are shared.

Analytics make branching worth the effort: which option viewers pick is itself a signal about who is visiting, and completion rates per branch show which audience the product lands with.
