Your first lane in five minutes
Guide 01 of 10 · 5 min read
A lane is your product, screen by screen, with one sentence at each stop. Here is the shortest path from a blank workspace to a link you can send.
1. Create your workspace
Start free with your work email. We send a verification link; clicking it signs you in and opens a short wizard — your role, a workspace name and accent color, optional teammates. Skip anything; it all lives in Settings later.
2. Start a lane
On the dashboard press New lane, name it after the thing it shows (“Pipelines tour”, not “Demo 1”), and pick how to capture:
- Chrome extension — click through your product; every click becomes a screen. Best for most apps.
- Screenshots — drop PNGs you already have.
- Screen recording — upload a video and we slice it into frames in your browser.
The capture guide covers each in detail. Six to twelve screens is a good first lane.
3. Mark the stops
Every screen becomes a stop. In the editor, click where the buyer should click next to place the hotspot, then write the title and the one sentence that matters on that screen. The editor saves as you type.
4. Publish
Open the lane's page and press Publish. Set the CTA destination — where the last stop sends people — while you're there.
5. Share
Share gives you the public link, an embed snippet for your site, and prospect links that greet a specific account by name. Send one to yourself first and drive it on your phone.
The dashboard checklist tracks these steps from real data — it ticks itself as you go, and you can hide it once you're done.
