Product-led growth (PLG).
Product-led growth is a go-to-market strategy in which the product itself — through free plans, trials, and self-serve onboarding — drives acquisition, conversion, and expansion.
Also: PLG
In a product-led company the buyer can sign up, use the product, and pay without a sales conversation; sales enters for larger accounts. Interactive demos fit PLG at the step before sign-up: they let a visitor experience the product before creating an account, which is the PLG promise without the empty-dashboard problem of a fresh trial.
Sales-led companies use interactive demos for the opposite reason — to give buyers a product experience their motion otherwise withholds until a call.
In Tellane: Tellane is product-led itself: free plan, trial without a card, a price on the page — and a lane on the homepage you can drive before signing up. See how →
