Embed · Zendesk Guide
Embed an interactive demo in a Zendesk Guide article.
Add a Tellane lane to a help-centre article with the source-code editor, and the one Guide setting that has to be on for iframes to display.
Where it goes: A how-to article in your help centre, so readers click through the workflow instead of reading it.
The snippet
One iframe
The share modal generates this for your lane; the example uses a placeholder address.
<iframe src="https://acme.tellane.com/l/pipelines-tour" width="100%" height="640" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Steps
In Zendesk Guide
- In Tellane, open the lane → Share → copy the Embed snippet.
- In Zendesk Guide, open the article editor and switch to Source code (the </> button).
- Paste the snippet where the player should appear and save.
- In Guide admin → Settings → Security, make sure Display unsafe content is enabled; Guide strips iframes otherwise.
- Publish the article and drive the lane.
Proof
This is what the embed looks like
A lane embedded on this page, the same way yours will be on Zendesk Guide. Drive it.

Lane progress
If it doesn't work
What breaks, and the fix
- The iframe vanishes on save. Display unsafe content is off in Guide settings; enable it (admin only) and re-save.
- A 'Made with Tellane' badge shows on the demo. Free-plan lanes carry the badge; Growth removes it under Settings → Workspace.
FAQ
Questions
Is enabling unsafe content a risk?
It allows iframes and scripts in articles sitewide; restrict article editing to trusted agents.
