Embed · Email (Gmail, Outlook, HubSpot, Mailchimp)
Put an interactive demo in an email.
Email clients do not run iframes. The pattern that works: a screenshot of the first stop linked to the lane — a prospect link for one-to-one, the public link for campaigns.
Where it goes: Outbound sequences, welcome emails, launch newsletters.
The snippet
One iframe
The share modal generates this for your lane; the example uses a placeholder address.
<iframe src="https://acme.tellane.com/l/pipelines-tour" width="100%" height="640" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Steps
In Email (Gmail, Outlook, HubSpot, Mailchimp)
- In Tellane, open the lane → Share. For one account, mint a prospect link; for a campaign, copy the public link.
- Take a screenshot of the lane's first stop (or the player with its orange hotspot visible).
- In the email, insert the image and link it to the lane URL; add a one-line text link under it for clients that block images.
- Send. Drives from the email show up under the referrer and, for prospect links, under the account.
Proof
This is what the embed looks like
A lane embedded on this page, the same way yours will be on Email (Gmail, Outlook, HubSpot, Mailchimp). Drive it.
If it doesn't work
What breaks, and the fix
- The player does not render in the email. Expected — no email client renders iframes. Use the linked image pattern above.
- Images are blocked by default. Keep a plain text link beneath the image; the link is what matters.
FAQ
Questions
Can I send a GIF of the lane?
Yes — record a few seconds of the lane with any screen recorder, export as GIF, and link it. Tellane does not generate GIFs itself.
How do I know who opened it?
Prospect links attribute every drive to the account; the analytics page lists them.
