Embed an interactive demo in Squarespace.

Add a Tellane lane to a Squarespace page with a Code block, and what to do if the player does not render in the editor.

Steps

In Squarespace

  1. In Tellane, open the lane → Share → copy the Embed snippet.
  2. In Squarespace, edit the page, press Add Block and choose Code.
  3. Paste the snippet with the type set to HTML and apply.
  4. Save, then open the live page and drive the lane.

If it doesn't work

What breaks, and the fix

  • The block shows 'Script disabled' in the editor. Squarespace renders code blocks only on the live site; the editor placeholder is expected.
  • The player is letterboxed or cut off on phones. Keep width="100%" and set height to 640 on desktop; for a fixed 16:10 box wrap the iframe in a div with aspect-ratio: 16 / 10 and give the iframe height: 100%.
  • A 'Made with Tellane' badge shows on the demo. Free-plan lanes carry the badge; Growth removes it under Settings → Workspace.

Code block. Squarespace's Embed block is for recognised providers and may show a link card for a lane URL.
