The short answer
What the price list means
Storylane publishes five tiers. The headline — $40 a seat on Starter — is real, but the features most marketing teams buy a demo tool for live two tiers up: HTML capture, personalization tokens, custom lead forms, and A/B testing are on Growth at $500 a month billed annually for five seats, with each extra seat at $100 a month. Starter's integrations (HubSpot, Zapier) need at least two seats. Arcade's teardown of Vendr contract data puts the median customer at about $11,500 a year, which is consistent with a Growth plan plus a few extra seats.

What decides the real bill
- Seat add-ons: $40 per extra seat on Starter, $100 per extra seat on Growth — a seventh Growth seat costs as much as two and a half Starter seats.
- HubSpot and Zapier on Starter require a minimum of two seats, so the real entry price for an integrated setup is $80/mo annual, not $40.
- Account reveal is quota-based: 250 identified visitors a month on Starter, 2,500 on Growth, 10,000 on Premium.
- Salesforce, SSO, and white-label URLs are Premium ($1,200/mo annual, 10 seats); API access is Enterprise.
- The Buyer Hub is an add-on on Starter and Growth and included only from Premium.
- RepX, the AI sales agent, is a separate product from $2,000/mo.

When to pay it
When Storylane is worth the price
- You need HTML capture and three formats in one editor and your team is five or more — Growth is competitive with Navattic's reported price and publishes the number.
- You want video demos, AI voiceovers, and avatars alongside interactive ones.
- You are building demo hubs or a buyer centre (Premium).
And when it is not: small teams that want lead forms and personalization without the $500/mo Growth tier; buyers who found the step editor slow.
